Orthomolecular advice
At AyurVita, I use a holistic approach that combines Ayurveda with orthomolecular therapy. This therapy focuses on replenishing essential nutrients—such as vitamins, minerals, and amino acids—to keep the body functioning optimally.
Cellular deficiencies or disruptions can unknowingly contribute to all sorts of complaints. By identifying and replenishing these, we naturally support your body's self-healing capacity.
WHAT IS IT?
Orthomolecular therapy is a naturopathic approach based on one fundamental principle: the body needs sufficient amounts of the right nutrients to function properly. Deficiencies in, for example, vitamin B12, magnesium, or zinc can lead to fatigue, hormonal imbalances, intestinal problems, or a compromised immune system. By recognizing and correcting these deficiencies, the body can regain its balance.
This therapy is always tailored to your body's unique needs – no standard advice, but personalized care. I use only natural substances that the body recognizes and can absorb.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
At AyurVita, orthomolecular therapy never stands alone. I always combine it with a Prana Consultation, during which I take the time to map your entire system:
- Your unique constitution according to Ayurveda
- Lifestyle, nutrition, complaints, energy level
- Classical diagnostics (tongue, pulse, etc.)
- Discussion of your living environment, stressors and sleep
- If desired, an EMB blood test can be used to detect deficiencies, blockages and disturbances at the cellular and system level
Based on this information, I create a personalized treatment plan. This may include:
- Orthomolecular supplementation (vitamins, minerals, amino acids)
- Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle advice
- Ayurvedic herbal therapy
- Detox advice or cleansing cure
- Sleep and stress balance support
- Coaching on integrating new habits into your life
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Orthomolecular therapy is not a replacement for conventional medicine, but a valuable addition.
In case of serious complaints, I always advise you to consult a doctor first.
Collaboration with regular care is very possible and in some cases desirable.
